A Storm Brewing

As I scouted around Mono Lake, I noticed a storm brewing over the Sierras, but I keep walking and seeking for a nice composition. I found this perspective, with some nice side lit rock formations, slowly growing out of the water. A neutral density filter provided for a longer exposure, smoothing out the water. The smooth water juxtaposed against the rugged rocks and agitated clouds gave a nice tension to the image. A tension you can sense, similar to Christ dealing with sin and Satan, while He was on the earth. Loving and gentle, yet firm and stern, reprimanding when needed. Would you remain calm, or stand steadfast like the rocks, or maybe be a chaotic storm blowing to and fro?
