About Jon Endicott

The world is charged with the grandeur of instagram. The overabundace of photos sear and smear my sight and often they leave me empty. But I do believe our world needs more beauty. Living in California, I am blessed with nature's testimony of God's grandeur.  My time with my camera is a type of spiritual discipline which involves solitude, prayer, worship, soul-building rest, and changing my perspectives.  I go searching for an amazing shot, but often return having found how amazingly blessed I am. Translating the experience of a snowy meadow, waterfalls, birds, and thunder into a single image is a challenge, but I enjoy it.

Yosemite and the coast are two of my favorite locations, but I also find incredible peace in Death Valley, Millerton Lake, and the Merced Wildlife Refuge.  I truly believe that "beauty will save the world," and it is my prayer that in a small way my photography will further this needed endeavor.
