Ever Changing

On one of our recent group trips, we ventured out east to the Mesquite Dunes on a very windy afternoon. We drove the two hours intending to capture some dune photos, only to arrive in the middle of a windstorm. We were gently reminded that God controls it all, the wind, the sand, and the calm. We stayed safely in our cars and watched as the evening approached, and the sun was slowly sinking. Finally, we had a few brief calm periods so we quickly ventured out to capture a few images. During that time we watched the ever-changing shapes materialize right before our eyes, creating textures and smooth dunes, washed with a low light to create some beautiful scenes.
