The best time of the day to photograph the eastern Sierra is at sunrise. Early morning is my favorite time of the day when everything is still and quiet and you experience the sun slowly revealing an alpenglow on the highest mountain peaks It’s important to scout the location the day before the shoot and have a plan that will give you the optimum results.
