Sierra Almonds

Almonds are one of the largest crops grown in the San Joaquin Valley, This orchard located in Madera cought my eye as I was scouting for locations to photograph. I wanted to capture the proximity the trees to our amazing Sierra skyline with its freshly fallen snow. The almonds start to bloom in mid February and hold there beautiful display into early March. This is an wonderful example of the transition to new life each spring season and God’s faithfulness.
