Tartan Houses

On a trip to Scotland, we were on a ferry from John O’Groats, on the northern coast, to the Orkney Islands. As we were headed out, I turned and captured this photo, waiting for the waves to break. It was a rainy crossing which is reflected in the grey sky behind the colorful houses.
